THE VERY END has been established by guitarist René Bogdanski (ex-Ninnghizhidda), and drummer Lars Janosch (ex-Destillery) in late 2004, and after a little while the two hooked up with vocalist Björn Goosses (Night in Gales, The Rules), guitarist Volker Rummel (ex-Flaming Anger) and bass player Marc Beste ( ex-Deafinit) to complete the driven quintet. THE VERY END’s first sign of life is the 3-track promo “2K5″ (produced by Sascha Risseler @ Total Recall Studios), followed by the second promo-CD “Soundcheck for your Funeral” (produced by Cornelius Rambadt & Hell-G @ Klangwelt Studios) in 2007, which are both a token for ..high quality steel made in Germany’. With their powerful blend of heavyiness, groove and melody, these five determined germans left both the metal press and fans enthusiastic and got overwhelming reactions, fuelling the fire of THE VERY END. Several live shows as support for bands like EXODUS, PRO PAIN, ONE MAN ARMY & THE UNDEAD QUARTET or DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER left the amazed crowd with open mouths and buzzing ears. THE VERY END are completing the songs for their debut full-length album while you are reading this, and their partners-in-crime Blacklist Promotion take care of the hopefully soon-to-be-started cooperation with a label willing to lead THE VERY END to new shores.
