| The origins of the SUNSTORM Project go back when Serafino Perugino asked former DEEP PURPLE, RAINBOW and MALMSTEEN singer Joe Lynn Turner to re-record some old tracks written originally for the follow up of “Rescue You”, the album he recorded after the split of Rainbow. The great acclaim from press and fans convinced Joe and the label to go ahead and do another one.
SUNSTORM new album features once again the production skills of Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69) and his group of musicians including VANDENPLAS keyboardist Gunter Werno.
Joe Lynn Turner supplied again some great tracks from his vaults including tunes co-written with Paul Sabu (John Waite, Alice Cooper, Silent Rage) and Desmond Child (KISS, VAN HALEN). Other tracks were supplied by Jim Peterik (SURVIVOR, PRIDE OF LIONS) and brothers Tom and James Martin (KHYMERA, HOUSE OF LORDS). The result is a total wet dream for AOR fanatics !
